8 BIT BEAD MADNESS!

We have been totally hooked on beads lately! Yes, the same stuff you stuffed up your nose in kindergarten! Here's a bunch of 8 BIT bead sprites from our favorite Mario games.

Best of all, there's simply no end for the use of these things! Use them as coasters, tile decorations, wall art, chewing toys for your dog...

CONVENTION EXCLUSIVE!

This just in from eFX! Not only did we provide them with paint masters for Luke's "A new hope" helmet. We also did the super secret "Empire strikes back" version! Seems like it's going to be a mega exclusive 250 pieces edition signed by Mark (Luke Skywalker) Hamill. A lot of prop fans gonna miss out though since this helmet will only be available at Star Wars celebration V, August 12-15, 2010, Orlando, Florida. Still no more info on the release of the regular version.

RED FIVE STANDING BY!

Much to seldom we have the opportunity to work on props and miniature projects these days. Needless to say we were super thrilled when asked by Carliforna based eFX collectibles, the official Lucasfilm license holder for Star Wars replica props to do some paint and weathering work for them. In short the commission was to paint and provide graphics for their upcoming helmet release, a screen accurate replica of Luke Skywalkers X-wing helmet as seen in Star Wars – A new hope. Gotta love that funky 70’s decor!
    

   

Thankfully we had UK based Chris King (know it all, Star Wars prop maestro) and Jez Hill, owner of starwarshelmets.com to help us out with the research work. Both eyeballed hundreds of reference pictures and made sure our work stayed as true to the original helmet as possible. Cheers guys, we owe you one!

Our masters will serve as paint reference for eFX factory when this collectible goes into production. The helmet was officially announced at this years edition of San Diego Comic Con but we still have no info on when they will be released or the edition size. As soon as we know you will too! Stay on target!
